Alles begann 2017, als einige mutige Seelen aus unserem B\u00fcro beschlossen, an der 100 km langen Radtour teilzunehmen, um Geld und Bewusstsein f\u00fcr den Kampf gegen Krebs zu sammeln.<\/p>\n<p>Es folgt ein kurzes Interview mit Menno Niehe, dem Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von ITW Contamination Control EMEA, \u00fcber dieses erste Abenteuer und dar\u00fcber, wie unsere Beteiligung im Laufe der Jahre gewachsen ist.<\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nWas war der Grund f\u00fcr Sie und den Rest des Teams, an der 2017er Ausgabe des Ride for the Roses teilzunehmen?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Menno:<\/span> \"Ich hatte schon ein paar Mal privat an der Fahrt teilgenommen, zuerst als Herausforderung mit einem Freund im Jahr 2011, und sp\u00e4ter habe ich mich mehr mit den Forschungsthemen der Fahrt besch\u00e4ftigt, weil einige Menschen in meinem Umfeld mit Krebs in Ber\u00fchrung gekommen sind.\"<\/p>\n<p>Als 2017 der Ride in der N\u00e4he unseres B\u00fcros stattfand, konnte ich ein paar andere aus dem Unternehmen \u00fcberzeugen, mitzumachen, obwohl sich damals noch jeder als Einzelperson angemeldet hat.\"<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.itw-cc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/itwcc-ride-for-the-roses-2017.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Das 1. Team von ITW Contamination Control im Jahr 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nWie kam es dann zu der gro\u00dfen Beteiligung, die Sie in den letzten Jahren erlebt haben?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Menno:<\/span> \"Nun, nach dieser Ausgabe im Jahr 2017 haben wir uns als Unternehmen nicht mehr viel mit dem Ride besch\u00e4ftigt, bis wir im Jahr 2023 ein paar neuere Kollegen hatten, die mit mir \u00fcber den Ride sprachen und wie viel Spa\u00df es machen w\u00fcrde, wieder mit einer Gruppe aus dem Unternehmen daran teilzunehmen.<\/p>\n<p>Dies f\u00fchrte dazu, dass wir Teilnehmer nicht nur f\u00fcr die 100-Kilometer-Fahrt, sondern auch f\u00fcr die 50- und 25-Kilometer-Fahrt rekrutierten, um auch die Kollegen zu ber\u00fccksichtigen, die nicht unbedingt erfahrene Radfahrer waren. Schnell wurde beschlossen, ein offizielles Firmenteam zu bilden, das aus Kollegen und einigen Familienangeh\u00f6rigen bestand, und f\u00fcr alle Teilnehmer Firmenkleidung anzufertigen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Zahl der Teilnehmer stieg von 12 im Jahr 2023 auf \u00fcber 30 in der kommenden Ausgabe 2025.\"<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.itw-cc.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/SGGM8929-1.jpg\" \/><em><strong>Die Mannschaft im Jahr 2024<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nWas ist Ihrer Meinung nach der Grund daf\u00fcr, dass im Vergleich zu 2017 so viele zus\u00e4tzliche Personen zum Team gesto\u00dfen sind?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Menno:<\/span> Der k\u00fcrzlich hinzugef\u00fcgte \"Walk for the Roses\", der erst 2024 ins Leben gerufen wurde und den Teilnehmern die M\u00f6glichkeit bietet, 15 km zu Fu\u00df zu gehen, anstatt mit dem Fahrrad zu fahren, hat einen gro\u00dfen positiven Einfluss auf die Zahl der Teilnehmer gehabt, die wir als Hindernis f\u00fcr einige sahen. Zus\u00e4tzlich dazu helfen wir als Unternehmen unseren Teammitgliedern mit der Bereitstellung von Kleidung, der Erstellung von \"Fund me\"-Nachrichten und dem Angebot von Trainingspl\u00e4nen f\u00fcr interessierte Teilnehmer, um die H\u00fcrde f\u00fcr eine Teilnahme zu senken. Wir haben mit einem kleinen freundschaftlichen Wettbewerb begonnen, um zu sehen, wer das meiste Geld sammelt, aber jetzt ist es eine gemeinsame Anstrengung, um diese gro\u00dfartige Sache so gut zu unterst\u00fctzen, wie wir es als Unternehmen k\u00f6nnen.\"<\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nWas sind neben der Unterst\u00fctzung einer gro\u00dfartigen Sache die zus\u00e4tzlichen Vorteile, die eine Veranstaltung wie Ride for the Roses f\u00fcr ITW mit sich bringt?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Menno:<\/span> \"Ich glaube, es ist gro\u00dfartig zu sehen, wie das Team w\u00e4hrend dieser Veranstaltungen zusammenw\u00e4chst. Man lernt die Leute auf eine ganz andere Art und Weise kennen, als man es im normalen Arbeitsalltag tun w\u00fcrde. Das bringt auch viel Kameradschaft zwischen allen Beteiligten hervor, auch mit den Angeh\u00f6rigen der Kollegen, die teilnehmen. Das macht es zu einer kompletten Veranstaltung, bei der man gemeinsam Sport treibt, sich mit Leuten trifft, mit denen man normalerweise nicht spricht, und gleichzeitig einer gro\u00dfartigen Wohlt\u00e4tigkeitsorganisation hilft.\"<\/p>\n<p><em><br \/>\nGibt es f\u00fcr Sie besondere Momente im Zusammenhang mit dem Ride for the Roses?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Menno:<\/span> Ich pers\u00f6nlich finde es fantastisch zu sehen, dass viele unserer Bilder in der Werbung, die Ride selbst nutzt, zu sehen sind. Man sieht, wie man als Team etwas bewirken kann und hoffentlich andere dazu inspiriert, ebenfalls als Gruppe\/Unternehmen mitzumachen. Es zeigt wirklich, dass jede Spende hilft, egal ob es sich um 5 Euro oder 100 Euro handelt, alles ist willkommen in unserem gemeinsamen Bem\u00fchen, den Krebs loszuwerden.\"<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><br \/>\nUnsere Kampagne \"Ride for the Roses 2025\" ist angelaufen und das Team kommt langsam zusammen.
