Steeds meer mensen zien de waarde in van duurzaamheid en circulair denken. Bedrijven spelen een grote rol in het bereiken van doelen zoals het verminderen van afval en de uitstoot van koolstof. Bedrijven die gespecialiseerd zijn in upcycling betreden de markt of cre\u00ebren speciale productlijnen voor het upcyclen van materialen. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Einde van het leven<\/u><\/h4>\n

Het einde van de levensduur is niet opgenomen in het lineaire productiemodel. Dit betekent dat grondstoffen worden gebruikt om nieuwe producten te maken, die uiteindelijk worden gebruikt en weggegooid. Maar wat gebeurt er met de producten nadat consumenten er klaar mee zijn? In deze context komt 'upcycling' om de hoek kijken. Bij deze duurzame aanpak wordt de impact op het milieu verminderd door minder afval en dus minder vraag naar grondstoffen, waardoor de levenscyclus van materialen wordt verlengd.<\/p>\n

Upcycling versus recycling<\/u><\/h4>\n

Waar recycling gewoon het hergebruik van materialen is, gaat upcycling verder! Oude materialen worden getransformeerd en opgewaardeerd tot nieuwe producten met een hogere waarde. Eenvoudig gezegd is upcycling het creatief hergebruiken van producten.<\/p>\n

We zijn er trots op dat we met onze duurzame productlijn bijdragen aan de upcyclingbeweging. De Revolve\u2122 lijn van verbruiksartikelen voor cleanrooms is gemaakt van 100% post-consumer (rPET) garen dat is gemaakt door het upcyclen van plastic flessenafval. De flessen worden verzameld en naar het recyclingcentrum gestuurd waar ze worden gesorteerd, schoongemaakt, gemalen en ge\u00fcpcycled, klaar om het REPREVE garen van te maken. Op deze manier verminderen we de hoeveelheid afval die op stortplaatsen terechtkomt en verminderen we de koolstofuitstoot. Op deze video<\/a> laten we het productieproces nog meer zien.<\/p>\n

rPET-materialen zijn gelijkwaardig aan nieuw materiaal<\/u><\/h4>\n

Texwipe\u00ae heeft uitgebreid onderzoek gedaan naar de prestatiekenmerken van rPET-gefabriceerd polyester in vergelijking met zuiver polyester materiaal. De rPET-materialen werden verwerkt door Texwipe's productielijnen en vertoonden vergelijkbare eigenschappen als nieuw materiaal. Broeikasgasbesparingen<\/u><\/h4>\n

In de broeikasgasbesparingscalculator via deze link<\/a> kun je eenvoudig berekenen hoeveel CO2 je bespaart. Door ons product te selecteren en je hoeveelheid in te vullen, berekenen we automatisch hoeveel kg CO2 per zak wordt bespaard.
