ECOC 2025 took place last week in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Chemtronics was yet again present at the exhibition. Our experienced and knowledgeable team was available at stand C2303 in the Bella Center to discuss applications and showcase excellent product performance. We look back at a fantastic event, full of engaging interactions with our industry peers.
ECOC 2025
The ECOC Exhibition has been running for over 30 years now and is Europe’s leading event for the optical communications industry. For the 2025 edition, approximately 6500+ attendees walked through the doors in Copenhagen. ECOC brings together scientists, engineers and business leaders from across the globe. ECOC is, in their own words, ‘’more then just a conference’’. It offers a unique platform to share knowledge, exchange groundbreaking ideas, spark innovations and foster collaborations that drive science and the future of the industry.
FOCCUS Fiber Optic
We proudly showcased our Chemtronics FOCCUS Fiber Optic portfolio, designed for optimal cleaning of connectors and fiber optic cables to ensure faster transmission rates, higher bandwidth and maintenance free operation across the network. Whether you are splicing fiber optic cables in the field or terminating connectors in a data center, Chemtronics has a cleaning kit specific to the task. For example, the CCT FOCCUS Fiber Optic Cleaning Kit includes the necessary cleaning supplies to make a successful 1.25mm and 2.5mm fiber optic connection. The Kit contains a CCT-125 and CCT-250 Fiber Optic End Face Cleaning Tool, a Fiber-Wash AQ Cleaning Pen and a QbE2 Cleaning Platform to perform the Combination Cleaning process.
Fiber-Wash AQ Pens are a non-flammable, water-based cleaning solution that quickly and safely cleans the end face of fiber optic connectors. It also dissipates static charge, which prevents the attraction of airborne contamination that clings to the end face surfacing.
Our stand activities
Our team consisting of Kevin Wright, Chris Corfield and Jens Eden was on hand to demonstrate the effectiveness of FOCCUS Combination Cleaning, utilising wet-to-dry cleaning methods. They explained the benefits of a correct cleaning process that anyone can easily replicate, which is fast, reliable and repeatable to save precious time and money when implemented in a production facility or field-based environment.

Furthermore, our Coventry water-based precision wiper assortment, made here in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands, was also on display. Last but not least; we handed out free samples to test our high performing swabs for those hard-to-reach areas and sensitive surfaces!
Next year
Now the dust has settled on another successful event, we are already looking forward to ECOC 2026 in Málaga, Spain, to explore the future of fiber optics together once more.
