Safety at ITW Contamination Control EMEA

At ITW Contamination Control EMEA, health and safety are the top priorities within the organization. To have our team prepared for emergencies, we organize a yearly BHV (Bedrijfshulpverlening – Emergency Response) training for everyone in our organization.

Having everyone equipped with the knowledge and skills to respond in case of an emergency is vitally important for day-to-day operations and also teaches us how to respond until professional aid can arrive at our premises.

Our yearly BHV course includes theoretical training, provided by professional Emergency Response trainers from Kompas Veiligheidsgroep BV, which is then followed by a few practical exercises. During these exercises, our team is taught how to effectively and safely extinguish small fires to replicate several different workplace fire types. They are also trained in how to assess a situation and correctly move an injured person to a safe location, demonstrating their understanding by practicing on the provided mannequins.

The team managed to navigate the course successfully and everyone passed the course with flying colours! This means that at ITW Contamination Control EMEA, we reduce the risk of emergency responses happening. However, if something does happen, we know how to respond accordingly.

We are prepared for another year of safety and ready to act if necessary! (No mannequins are harmed during our training 😉)
