19 Aug Silver Medal EcoVadis Sustainability Rating
We are proud to announce that we have successfully achieved a Silver Medal in the EcoVadis Sustainability Rating in July 2025, improving on our Bronze Medal awarded in August 2024. We are now officially amongst the top 15% companies that excel in sustainability solutions to help manage, measure, and improve sustainability performance across the entire supply chain.
Industrial Requirement
Sustainable practices are now a part of modern-day business, especially if you want to operate internationally. To prove that you are implementing sustainable measures across the whole organization, you require a certificate from an independent party. Ecovadis is one of the largest and most recognizable sustainability platforms.
EcoVadis Medals
EcoVadis medals recognize eligible companies that have completed the EcoVadis assessment process. Medal-rated companies have demonstrated a strong management system that addresses sustainability criteria. The percentile rank is calculated across all companies in all industries. EcoVadis medals are then awarded to the top 35% of all companies assessed. The assessment criteria include the following areas within an organization: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement.
Scorecard
EcoVadis uses a scorecard system to calculate the company’s performance in each area, with results ranging from 0 to 100. The achieved score highlights strengths and areas for improvement, regarding sustainability efforts. EcoVadis compares the company’s performance with all other rated companies in its database over the previous 12 months. We scored 73 out of 100 points overall across the scorecard. This puts us in the 91st percentile in July 2025.
Our Ecovadis Assessment
Juwita Paap-Sari, Team Leader Purchasing & Planning and Daniël van der Heijden, Quality Manager are enormously proud of contributing to the advanced level of sustainability achieved across the organization. As part of the leading team during the assessment, their colleagues from HR, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales, Warehouse and Production departments all participated in the assigned questionnaires.
It is the second year we participated in the EcoVadis assessment, earning a Bronze Medal in August 2024. EcoVadis customizes its questionnaires each year based on our background, industry and business impact. Everyone in the company has worked extremely hard throughout the past year to implement the improvement points that were highlighted in the 2024 assessment results.
Alongside EcoVadis, we educate ourselves by participating in various courses, with the Supplier LOCT Foot Printing course as an example.
Next steps
Based on the improvement of this year’s rating, we strive to achieve the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the upcoming assessment period 2025-2026. One of the contributing areas where we are working diligently is our Scope 3 GHG Emissions Reporting.
